Students create amazing snow sculptures for contest

From Augie snowmen to very relaxed teddy bears, Vikings showed their sculpting skills around campus!

Students braved sub-zero wind chills for the 2024 Winter Wonderland Competition. They sculpted their best snow art for the competition, held by the Office of Student Life’s Student Life Programming Board Late Night Committee. The contest featured 23 amazing entries, with judging criteria centered on the creativity and quality of the sculpture.

"This was a great idea our students put together,” said Ken Brill, associate dean and director of the Office of Student Life and Leadership. “It has been so fun to see our students put their creativity to work, especially in the cold temperatures.”
