Student attendance at professional conferences

The 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@ Student Research/Inquiry Committee has established a program to encourage and underwrite the participation of students in professional conferences. A requirement for applying for funding is that the student be a formal presenter (for example a paper, report or poster) based on a research project conducted by the student under the supervision of an 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@ faculty member.
Each student is eligible for funding for one conference (up to $1,000) in an academic year.
Monies granted to a student through this program may be used for conference registration, poster-printing, travel and housing at the conference. Reimbursements for food and incidental expenses are not included. It is expected that this request is made for funds needed in addition to any that are available through your department.
Apply as soon as you are confirmed as a student participant in a conference. If a student is traveling with a group, their faculty advisor should submit an application for the entire group.
