The event will feature safe telescope and naked-eye views of the partial eclipse of the sun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. Free indoor and outdoor programs in the planetarium, observatory and geology museum are planned.

The Tinnitus Activities Treatment–Online program includes video-recorded counseling sessions with a focus on the causes, prevalence, mechanisms and reactions to tinnitus. Thirty or more participants can take part in the sessions.

Frieze Lectures to examine feminism starting Oct. 19

The Frieze Lectures series continues for its 26th year, from Oct. 19 to Nov. 9. The free public lecture series was created to celebrate the oldest library in Illinois, the Rock Island Public Library, founded under the Local Library Act of 1872.

Recognized for excellence in and out of the classroom, Kade Ariano '25 received a scholarship that pays for his junior year’s tuition at 365体育投注_365体育备用网址@ and a paid internship with the Quad Cities River Bandits in the summer of 2024.
